I met him there and somehow we kept in touch... Using letters. Actual letters, not e-mails, because at the time there wasn't much of any Internet. And we both did our own lives seperately, he got married, I got married, we both got divorced, etc. And then one day, he tells me he's gonna be around Amsterdam, where I was living at the time. And he asked if I wanted to meet for coffee. And then one thing lead to an other and we got together, finally. And since then, I live with him here in Montreal."
